Really good food and plenty of it. Great service. A little out of the way to get there but worth the trip.
Great view, great food and great coffee. We were looking for breakfast on our trip to the coast and found this restaurant by accident. It was a pleasant surprise and Jen took excellent care of us. Thanks again
The lunch & dinner specials are an awesome deal, plus it keeps it exciting. I love the different soups weekly, and huge variety of lunch and dinner specials. They offer every night. Super easy to just call and ask what the special is for that day. This restaurant does taco Tuesdays, Salisbury steak or beef stroganoff on Wednesdays, Italian on Thursdays, and amazing fish, Friday on Fridays, and prime rib Saturday!!
The scramble was generous and had lots of toppings. The biscuits and gravy were pretty bland and the biscuits didn’t taste fresh. The bacon and toast were really good, though.
Finally the weather has been fit for human consumption and we have turned our thoughts to exploration and good food. Just short distance from our home but tucked away off the main roads we found Rainey Corners. Here is a collection of businesses that cover all needs. Primarily we found a great place to get a great lunch or breakfast. Triple Tree is not a glamorous setting but the basics are here table chair great and friendly service food fresh cooked with fresh ingredients. Special for the Friday lunch was Fish and chips which available half and half with shrimp and cod including clam chowder, fries, and slaw. All pronounced great by my better half. I, because I felt it was my duty as a reviewer ordered the obvious star of the lunch menu the “Logger burger” which besides a monster order of fries came with a side salad of extremely fresh greens. My sacrifice was to put this away so I can tell you how good it was. There— see the pic I need a nap.
We went for lunch and everything was great. The chicken fry dip was genius. It’s a chicken fried steak inside a sandwich that you dip into gravy. The triple tree special sandwich was also delicious. The green chile was so flavorful. The onion rings and curly fries were tasty too. The Bloody Mary had lots of fun pickles in it. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They have interesting antiques everywhere too. If we are in the area again we will stop in for sure!
Great breakfast spot. Server had a great personality. Place was busy and we still got service right away and food was delivered promptly. Recommend the eggs benedict.
Excellent breakfast with real potatoes (something that's rare these days), fair prices. We were a large group, but that wasn't a problem as far as getting a big table. Server gladly made out separate checks for all of us.
